Work-Life Empowerment with Lori Wallace

Updated: Oct 30, 2023

Are you in search of meaning and purpose in your career?

In this episode of the Beauty of Conflict, Susan and CrisMarie interview Lori Wallace, founder and CEO of Career Ecology, about personal growth, self-discovery, and the challenges individuals face in their lives, particularly concerning their careers and self-identities. Lori’s journey from self-abandonment to embracing authenticity and conflict highlights the significance of vulnerability in understanding and accepting oneself. She explains why, as a career coach, she employs nature metaphors, like the transformation of the monarch butterfly, to guide people through career transitions and uncertainties. In this conversation with Susan and CrisMarie, Lori touches on the pursuit of meaning and purpose in life, emphasizing the importance of adapting to change, aligning with core values, and being open to unexpected opportunities.

Tune in and learn more about resilience and openness as crucial factors in personal growth and self-discovery from Lori Wallace!

About Lori Wallace

Lori has prepared herself to be of service to humanity her whole life. As a mother, partner, business owner, social entrepreneur, and student of nature, psychology, myth, and love, she has studied life, leaned in, felt the heat, and let it burn away oppressive coping mechanisms to reinstate heart-mind as the seat of intelligence.

As a graduate of UCLA in Psychology and certified in "Nurtured Heart Approach" and "Wild Soul Ecology," Lori unlocks diversity and cooperation so all may reap the rewards of deep integration – the way nature intended.

The challenging world of employment is Lori's landscape for healing. To ease human suffering and empower authentic relating, she founded igMedical Search in 2005 and effectively transformed headhunting into human connection. Ten years later, she birthed Career Ecology to unlock limitless growth via her signature Feng Shui Resume, Mindful Interviewing, and Biodynamic Networking – as well as "Way of the Monarch" (a guided e-book and journey into heart~mindfulness). In essence, Lori reframes the search for meaningful employment as a gateway to wholeness.
