What Makes A Good Team

Teams are made of humans, but what truly matters is how the team members interact, structure their work, and view their contributions.

In this episode of the Beauty of Conflict, Susan and CrisMarie break down five critical aspects that are important to building a good and successful team. Identified in a research study done by Google, the aspects are Psychological Safety, Dependability, Structure & Clarity, Meaning of Work, and Impact of Work. They discuss what they are, what are some signs that your team might need to improve on any of these, and how to approach them properly. Susan and CrisMarie also touch on some other characteristics that one would think to be critical, such as extroversion, individual performance, and workload size, among others, and explain why they are not to be considered critical.

Tune in to this episode to learn why the key to successful teams is not the perfect combination of its members but the healthy work and interaction dynamics they implement!
