Who runs the world? MOMS!
When they thrive, the world wins; they sometimes need a few breaks. In this episode of the Beauty of Conflict, Susan and CrisMarie chat with Shonda Moralis, founder of Breathe, Mama, Breathe, about how five-minute mindfulness practices help busy moms create a balance in their life. Shonda provides an example of how one can establish quick mindfulness habits to keep track of thoughts, sensations, and emotions as a pathway to calm down and ground oneself. She shares three different types of breaks one can take to make different shifts saying that balance is not a static state one can achieve; it’s a constant flux of growth. Some people may require more encouragement to look within themselves to feel confident, but with repetition and practice, the brain can become more receptive and understanding in conflict.
Listen to this episode and learn how a little bit of daily mindfulness can go a long way!
