About Jason Patent

Jason Patent has accumulated extensive experience in high-level leadership roles within intricate, multicultural settings. Having successfully coached and trained numerous leaders, he brings a wealth of expertise to the table.


Firmly grounded in a belief in the potential of humanity and the untapped possibilities for our species, Jason is the founder of JP Global Lead LLC. With 18 years of experience in prominent leadership positions in both the U.S. and China, he has held pivotal roles such as Chief of Operations and Chief of Strategy at International House UC Berkeley, Director of the Robertson Center for Intercultural Leadership at I-House, Co-Director of the Johns Hopkins–Nanjing University Center for Chinese and American Studies, and Director of the Stanford Program in Beijing.


Jason's influence extends globally, as he has coached, consulted, and delivered keynote addresses to over 3,000 professionals and university students from 30+ countries spanning six continents. His impact is felt across diverse platforms, having worked with CEOs, city leaders, and professionals whom he has trained to design and lead their own workshops. Renowned for his expertise, Jason has conducted hundreds of workshops on global leadership and diversity, equity, and inclusion, including notable appearances at the International Leadership Association, the European Association for International Education, NAFSA Association of International Educators, and the Asia-Pacific Association for International Education.
