While in a leadership position, she witnessed and recognized many inequalities, injustices, and microaggressions that occur commonly. When she realized that the problem starts within every individual, Gavriella decided to do something about it. Ever since she has undertaken a journey to become a good ally to those who might be subjected to those inequalities, sharing her gained knowledge. In this conversation, she gives an insight into her newest book ALLIES, where she built a framework to identify the appropriate actions to take, to become an ally for those who need one. She shares examples of how to apply these actions to change the culture and language around you to make the environment more inclusive.
