Tiger uses a coach because he knows a coach gives him objective feedback, helps him focus on what’s important and holds him accountable. His coach isn’t afraid to say to the best golfer in the world, “You need to change your stroke.” Then help him do it.
In sports, using a coaching is a given. The better the athlete, the more committed they are to a coach or mentor. In business, too many leaders let their ego get in the way of asking for help and utilizing a coach or mentor. Don’t let your ego get in the way of being your best.
