We customize our consulting approach to fit the needs of each individual client and design our approach to not only aid teams that may be struggling but also help functioning teams achieve even better results.

We work with CEOs and leaders who are determined to make their executive and leadership teams cohesive and their organizations more effective. Unlike many organizational consulting firms, we strive to integrate discussions of team effectiveness with core business issues, helping companies avoid politics and confusion, make higher quality decisions and retain top employees.

Our work with CEOs and their executive teams usually begins with a one or two-day offsite, where we identify and address potential team dysfunction and internal confusion about priorities by applying methodologies found in The Five Dysfunctions of a Team, The Four Obsessions of an Extraordinary Executive and Death By Meetings. We also work with the team to develop skills for having Crucial Conversations to reduce team and organizational politics. Following our initial work with teams, we also provide clients with follow-up tools and customized guidelines to ensure that progress continues.

Developing Leaders

We believe each of our clients has the ability to be a leader. We coach our clients to identify their personal and professional vision, get a clear understanding of where they are currently, and help them align what they are doing with where they want to go.   • Leading with Backbone and Heart - a two day training to help leaders develop their skills in both: Backbone - the ability to say the tough stuff and make the tough call; and Heart - the ability to stay connected and listen.
  • Energizing Your EI: Emotional Intelligence - a two day training that provides leaders with an understanding of both their own strengths and weaknesses related to the four areas of EI and four key leadership styles as well as an action plan to develop further.   • On-line Leadership Assessment - Allows you to evaluate your Emotional Intelligence and Leadership Styles. Helping Organizations Communicate

Often a key leader in an organization recognizes a problem with the communication in the corporate culture or a skill deficiency and contacts us.

  • Straight Talk: Handling Crucial Conversations - is a one or two day offsite to develop skills for having those crucial conversations. This can be done with an intact team or general training offered to the organization.
